Day 45

I am not feeling too well. Our Alsatian had a litter a few weeks ago, and those little monsters keeps one awake at night! They sleep inside the house, and every now and then one gets "lost", so to speak. Then, when he realizes mommy is not here, he starts complaining. And loudly as well! Not sure how the girls manage to sleep through it, but they do. Mommy doesn't care about the lost pup. Why does she need to? Me or the Wife will get up and go put him back. So why would she bother? I must mention, though, that the pups are beautiful and fat. And now they start playing, and they just get cuter by the day!

Unfortunately, it was not only the pups that kept us awake last night. At 5:20 this morning the power went out, and it stayed out until 8:40. Immediately both my machines stopped working, and it was too damn cold to go struggle with the generator, so we decided I will just wait it out.

Fortunately, because of banting, my oxygen levels are better, so for as long as I keep still I am OK. And one day, in the near future, I will be able to sleep all night without at least my one machine. All because of banting, and the weight I am losing because of it.

Talking about weight loss, I lost only .3 kg last week. My worst week yet. But this is the week in which I had ice-cream cake on two different days, as well as Appletiser on one of those two days. The Wife was the big winner this week, with a total loss of 2.7 kg. Youngest lost 2 kg, but Eldest, the birthday girl, picked up .7 kg. She, however, lost quite a bit the previous week, so the overall trend for us all is still downwards, and that is what is important!
