Day 22

This morning we weighed ourselves. After losing only .2 kg last week, the Wife lost 4.0 kg this week. This puts her total loss to 10.4 kg for the this month. Well done, Honey!

The Eldest lost .9 kg, and now have lost a total of 3.5 kg, while the Youngest lost 1.4 kg this week for a total of 6.4 kg for the month so far. Well done, my angels!

Last week was the first time I could weigh myself, and clocked in at unhealthy 200.3 kg. I am happy to report that I have lost 3.4 of those kilos. I am not sure how much I've lost in the first two weeks, but I would have been happy had my total kilo's been only 3.4 for the three weeks. Well done to me as well! :-)

This morning it was the Youngest's turn to prepare breakfast. Three poached eggs, about four strips of greasy bacon, and some cherry tomatoes spiced and fried in butter. Hmmm, delicious...

I've heard some people complain about getting tired of bacon & eggs every morning. I love my bacon, and so far have not had any problem with it. Eggs, however, is something you can play with. Poached eggs, baked eggs, scrambled eggs, egg muffins, omelets... A different type of egg for each day of the week. You can even make your scrambled eggs different by spicing it, or having it with cheese. You can have different egg muffins (I've seen some with bacon, others with spinach, the options are endless!), and different types of omelets as well. Your breakfast does not have to be the same baked eggs and bacon every single morning of the week! And having an avocado with breakfast in the morning not only tastes amazing, it helps to up your fat intake, and have many other healthy benefits as well.
