Last week was a bad week for me. For some reason I was constantly feeling like nibbling on something. I only hope this week goes better. I managed to keep myself in check most of the time, and when I nibbled it was on something legal. The Wife have made some fat bombs, and they not only were they delicious, they were a lifesaver in this last week. I can only hope this week goes better!
Today it was weigh-in day again. Youngest lost .9 kg this last week, while Eldest was down .3 kg. I lost 1.4 kg, but the Wife was the biggest loser this week, throwing off a total of 1.9 kg. It is good that, even after nibbling more than usual last week, I still lost!
We also measured again today as well. Over my chest, I have come down from 160 cm on June 1, to a current 149 cm. That is an almost 7% loss in centimeters, and I can really feel it on my clothes. I will soon be able to fit into some of my old clothes again! Also, the less fat I have around my chest, the better for my heart.
I decided to treat us this month, and we bought some gherkins. I always loved sour stuff (no wonder I am crazy about full-fat plain yoghurt!) which is why I decided on gherkins. The Wife and girls like gherkins a lot as well, so I was not completely selfish in my choice. We did some label-checking, and took the one with the least carbs (3carbs per 100 gram, of which 2.1 is sugars). Somehow I can't remember gherkins being quite this sweet. So now, should I want to nibble, at least I can have a gherkin every day or two!
