Day 151

I love my yoghurt. Always have. The only yoghurt I did not like was chocolate flavored yoghurt. Actually, I kind of hated it. Something just was not right, there. Since banting, I love my yoghurt even more. I prefer it unflavored. Just plain good old full-cream yoghurt.

The Wife and Girls did not enjoy it so much at the beginning. They preferred to sweeten it with xylitol, and flavor it with something like vanilla essence. I tried it like that, and it tasted nice, but not as nice as just plain. Then the Wife made chocolate yoghurt.

Take some full-cream, plain yoghurt, add cocoa powder, and xylitol to taste. Asked me to take a bite. Well, all I can say is, that is NOT yoghurt. It's pudding! It tasted like a very nice chocolate mousse. Maybe not as fluffy, but every bit as tasty. And it really helps for that chocolate craving you might have!

With the weight, everything is still going good. I've chucked off only 300 grams this week, after losing 1 kg last week. The Wife was the Biggest Loser this week with 1,2 kg, and she also lost 800 grams last week, to average 1kg a week over the two weeks.

Eldest did not lose anything this week, but she did not gain anything either. Last week she equaled The Wife with 0,8 kg. Youngest lost half a kilo this week, but led the race last week with 1,3 kg. Her total for the two weeks was 1,8 kg.

So, what else can I say? We're still losing, even after almost five months. None of us ever managed to stay on any kind of diet for this long, and not one of us would care to return to our old lifestyle either. We are loving this. I only wish we could get more cauliflower...
